We are grateful for the generosity of our community and all who contributed to this year’s efforts. Because of you, Oakwood will be able to make key upgrades and enhancements to our outdoor play spaces, supporting brain-boosting movement.

Together, we raised $8,465 from 35 donors, strengthening our ability to enhance student experiences and support our mission of providing a multisensory educational program in which students with learning differences are guided to achieve their unique academic and social potential in a nurturing community environment.

The Oakwood Playground

The iconic Oakwood playground was built by parents and volunteers in the fall of 1983 and is repaired regularly by our talented Facilities Manager. While the playground is reserved during school hours for students, we welcome visitors on the weekends and after hours to enjoy this magical place.
