Summer 2020 Program Information: Available in JanuaryWe welcome three categories of students to our summer program: Oakwood Students, Returning Non-Oakwood Community Students, and New Non-Oakwood Community Students. We are delighted to have all three groups with us each summer! Each group has different registration requirements.
New Community students have a two-step registration process. First, they need to submit a Summer Application to the Oakwood Summer Program. The summer program team will review the Summer Application and supporting documents to be sure we are a good match and that we will be able to fully serve the student’s academic needs. If accepted, the Community student will then complete a Summer Program Registration form.
Examples of Supporting Documents:
- Any psycho-educational evaluations or current IEP the student may have
- Most recent report card and any other recent assessments
- Application fee
Returning Non-Oakwood Community Students need to complete a Summer Program Registration form and provide any new supporting documents. They do not need to complete a new application.
Oakwood Students just need to complete a Summer Program Registration form. They do not need to complete an application.
Please Note: the Intensive Reading and Writing Program has limited space and involves an extra screening process. If you choose the Intensive Reading and Writing Program during the application process (new students) or the registration process (returning and Oakwood students), your child will be screened by program staff to determine official acceptance into the Intensive program.
