Oakwood School has been serving students in 1st through 8th grades with specific learning disabilities in the DC Metro area since 1971. As a special education school, we serve students with mild to moderate learning differences through systematic, explicit, and direct instruction.

FROM ROUTE 495 (Express Lane Accessible)
- Take Exit 54A-B East (Braddock Road/Rte. 620)
- Proceed east 2 miles, passing Oakwood School on the left
- Move into the left turn lane left at the median break past the school and turn into the driveway, follow to Visitor Parking in front of Door 1
FROM ROUTE 395
- Take Exit 2-B West (Edsall Road)
- Follow Edsall to Backlick Road, turn right
- Turn left at Braddock Road
- Oakwood School is 1/2 mile on the right
Visitor parking is located on the north side of the school alongside the field. All visitors should enter through Door 1.
