This registration form is for current and newly enrolled Oakwood students who wish to attend Oakwood's summer program. 

If you are not a current Oakwood parent/guardian, please use the Summer 2025 Application.

Academic & Program Information

Summer at Oakwood will reinforce critical literacy skills. Current Oakwood teachers will lead small group sessions. Summer teaching staff will use current assessments, progress documents, and end-of-year recommendations from students' files to support their growth during the summer camp.

This application is for current 1st-5th grade students who attend a school in the Northern Virginia area and are interested in attending Summer at Oakwood. If you are a current or newly enrolled Oakwood family, please use the Registration Form above. 

Summer at Oakwood Schedule & Hours

Camp will run for four weeks from July 7th through August 1st, Monday through Friday. The hours will be 8:30 am until 11:30 am. Each week costs $765.00. Registration for all four weeks is discounted at $2,754.00. Optional morning care is offered at an additional price of $60 per week. 

Learning Profile & Information

Summer at Oakwood will reinforce critical literacy skills. Current Oakwood teachers who are Orton-Gillingham trained will lead small group sessions. Summer teaching staff will use current assessments, progress documents, and end-of-year recommendations from students' files to support their growth during the summer camp.

Each application is carefully reviewed to ensure we can fully serve each camper’s academic needs. Please answer the following questions and upload the relevant paperwork to this form so we can get a complete picture of your child's unique learning strengths and challenges.

The following questions refer to testing that may have been completed by an educational professional and structured support that may be established for your child's success in a learning environment.

Summer at Oakwood Schedule & Hours

Accepted families who enroll at Summer at Oakwood for four consecutive weeks will receive a discount.

The camp day runs from 8:30 am until 11:30 am. We offer Morning Care for an additional cost.

Due to the highly specialized nature of the Summer at Oakwood academic program, space is limited. Each application form will be reviewed to ensure the appropriate educational group is available.
