Writing workshop for rising 6th-9th graders! 

July 8-11 
July 15-18
July 22-25
July 29-Aug 1

Each week will focus on a different style of writing (creative, narrative, opinion, informative). The first half of each day will focus on semantics/writing at the sentence level - word order, types of sentences (run-on, complete, fragment), or main idea. Attendees would receive instruction in key writing and grammar mechanics (punctuation, capitalization, usage, verb tense, and sentence structure). The second half of the day will focus on writing at the paragraph level (sequencing, organization, use of graphic organizers).

Variety of weekly camps & activities for rising 6th-9th graders!

Summer Cove camps are designed to keep campers active and engaged, encouraging them to think outside the box and problem-solve while socializing and exploring new avenues. Each week offers a variety of camps that range from high to low energy and camps that cover a multitude of skills and interests. 

Summer Cove offers camps between the weeks of June 24th - August 9th. Camps run Monday - Friday from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm (except July 4th).

Academic and activity-based camp for children ages 5-12!

The St. James Camps @ Oakwood will deliver a multisensory educational experience for campers, ages 5-12. The camp uses certified teaching staff and maintains high academic standards, including a low student-to-instructor ratio (1:6 in the classroom). Camp will start at the Oakwood School every morning and will be transported to and from The St. James Campus some afternoons for different physical activities.
