Congratulations to the Oakwood School Class of 2025!

On June 12th, Oakwood School proudly celebrated the graduation of 23 eighth-grade students, each with an Oakwood journey spanning anywhere from two to eight years. Over 175 guests, including families, staff, alumni, and friends, gathered in the gymnasium to honor this remarkable milestone.

The ceremony featured a heartfelt keynote address by Oakwood alumna Raquel Sarchio '20, who shared reflections on her own path and offered thoughtful guidance for the graduates as they head into high school and beyond.

This fall, the Class of 2025 will be heading to a variety of high schools across the region, including: Arlington Tech: Governor's STEM Academy, Bishop O'Connell, Bishop Ireton, Colgan High School, Dominion High School, Flint Hill School, Immanuel Christian High School, Lab School of Washington, McLean School, Oakton High School, St. Paul VI Catholic, St. John's College High School, Tandem Friends School, and Templeton Academy.

During his opening remarks, Head of School Jim Blair offered words of encouragement:

"We are excited to see and hear about the incredible things you will achieve in the future. Your next school and the world are awaiting your brilliance, creativity, and potential! Oakwood will always be in your corner, cheering you on. Congratulations to all of you!

We are so proud of our graduates and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in this next chapter and beyond. Congratulations, Class of 2025!
