Oakwood School Student Leaders

On Thursday, September 18th, Oakwood students, staff, and families gathered to celebrate this year's student leaders in Color Guard and the Student Council Association.

The Student Council Association (SCA) consists of five student leaders: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Historian. It also includes Class Representatives from each of our eleven teams. Students meet regularly to discuss school events, service projects, and new initiatives to propose to school administrators. Erin Morgan, Dean of Academics, and Liz Busovsky, Instructional Technology Resource Teacher, act as SCA's Faculty Advisors.

Color Guard members are selected through an application process and are responsible for raising and lowering the school flag daily. They also present and lead the community in honoring the American flag at all school events. Patricia Stock, Academic Coordinator: Math, acts as the Faculty Advisor to the Color Guard.

The SCA and Color Guard Installation Ceremony is an annual tradition to honor the students elected as leaders at Oakwood School.

Congratulations to the 2025-2026 Student Leaders!
