Oakwood School is excited to announce shifts in roles and responsibilities among our current team and the addition of several new teaching staff members. These changes support our ongoing commitment to providing students with the highest-quality education and experience.

Returning Staff Transitions
Erin Morgan transitioned to Academic Supervisor in 2022. This year, she will maintain her role and responsibilities but will work under the new title of Dean of Academics.
Tamara Gordon will fill a pivotal role next year as our Dean of Student Life, supporting students, families, and staff in promoting a positive school community and culture. Tamara looks forward to collaborating with school staff to provide students and families with a dynamic Oakwood experience.
Julia Bang, a long-term Oakwood classroom teacher, will take on a new role as the Assistant to the Academic Team. This new position was designed to support the increasing student population and teacher training.
New Staff Introductions
Beatrice Adams has taught children and adults with various learning challenges, interests, and academic gifts. She brings a strong knowledge of evidence-based literacy programs, special education advocacy, and student assessments.
Sarah Davis has worked as a teacher at local special education schools and has experience leading team-building programs and outdoor education experiences. She brings a diverse background in training, instruction, and community building.
Stephanie Guiffre taught first and second grades before becoming a resource, curriculum, and instruction director at a local K-8 school. Mrs. Guiffre is a former Oakwood parent.
Holly Martinson founded Patient Minds LLC and has extensive experience working with neurodiverse students as an executive function coach, developing school curricula, and teaching in the special education field.
Stephanie Sensenbrenner has been a special education teacher for middle and high school students. She loves teaching Social Studies and appreciates the opportunity to share the importance of engaged citizenship with her students.
