Oakwood School provides a multisensory educational program in which students with learning differences are guided to achieve their unique academic and social potential in a nurturing community environment.

For over 40 years, Oakwood School has been helping students unleash the rich potential within themselves, and as a result, they have impacted the world around them. Below are a few ways that you can be a part of this endeavor. 100% of your tax-deductible contribution will help give a child the benefit of the "Oakwood Experience."

  1. Donate Online

    2. With the GiveDirect credit card processing service, no fees are taken on Visa or Mastercard donations. We receive 100% of your gift. A low fee of 2.85% is deducted from American Express donations. When you click the "GiveDirect" icon on the left, you will be taken to a secure 3rd party site to complete your transaction.

    Please note: We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. GIVEDIRECT is the name that will appear on your credit card statement - not Oakwood School. Using a 3rd party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs!


  2. Donate a Vehicle

    3. Through a partnership with VDAC (Vehicle Donations to Any Charity), we accept vehicle donations from anywhere in the country. VDAC will arrange the towing, auction the vehicle, handle the transfer of title, etc. Donations can be accepted online, or via a toll free number. When you click the "Vehicle Donation Program" icon on the left, you will be taken to a secure 3rd party site to make your donation.

  3. Donate through the Combined Federal Campaign

    4. If you are a federal employee, postal worker, or member of the U.S. military, you can give to Oakwood through the Combined Federal Campaign.

    Our CFC designation # is 84484.

  4. Appreciated Securities

    5. You can donate stocks and bonds to Oakwood. Please contact Oakwood's Business Office or have your brokerage firm call to obtain transfer instructions. Your tax deduction is the value of the stock on the date of its transfer to the school's account.

  5. Matching Gifts

    6. Many companies match the philanthropic contributions of their employees. We invite you to explore whether your employer or a foundation you may know will match your donation to Oakwood. Please Contact us for any information that you or your employer may require.
