Information Process
An informational brochure is forwarded following an initial inquiry by parent/guardian or referring professional. Brochures may be requested by phone or by clicking on the link below.

	Parents/professionals contact the school office to make a tour reservation. An Admissions Packet, including an application, admissions checklist, admissions procedures and release form are distributed at this time. Interested persons may download these documents prior to attending a tour by clicking on the link below.

Admission Placement Procedures
Submission of a completed application along with the most recent psychological and educational testing, other relevant evaluations, an Individual Educational Plan (if available), a current report card and a $50 non-refundable Review Fee.

Once a student's file is complete, it is reviewed and a preliminary recommendation of the appropriateness of Oakwood's program for the student is made.

As openings occur, our Admissions Team invites potential candidates for an Educational Evaluation. There is a $300 fee for the Educational Evaluation and subsequent consultation. At the follow-up consultation parents are provided with the results of the evaluation and a final recommendation on placement is made.

Acceptance packages are offered during the follow-up consultation to students for whom Oakwood School is deemed an appropriate placement.
